I’m Eva, and I’m so happy you’re here.

Scribbletastic started as my own academic project back in 2018, born out of a deep belief that children need a safe space to express themselves. When words are not enough, Scribbletastic can help out. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into turning those initial art resources into this interactive experience.

​

It’s now a place where children can express how they’re feeling through drawing, play, and rewards without the pressure of “doing art” the right way. It’s designed to be simple, safe, and most of all, a little bit of fun.

Whether you're a parent, a therapist, or an educator, I hope this app helps you connect with the children in your life in a new, creative way.

My Journey​

This app is the result of years of research during my graphic design and future design degrees at Teesside University and a passion for supporting children’s emotional well-being. I am now studying Psychology. It’s been a long road from the early research stages to the version you see today, and I’m really proud to say it’s finally live and ready for users to enjoy!

Scribbletastic gives every child a place to say what is hard to put into words. With six friendly scribble characters to guide them, children draw, play gentle wellbeing games and check in with their feelings, completely free and always will be.

For grown-ups, the Parent Dashboard and Therapist dashboard turns those scribbles into something more, providing multi-week mood trends, drawing replays and progress reports that reveal the story behind the art, creating a quiet window into your child's emotional world. Schools get a whole-class view that aligns with the Ofsted wellbeing framework, can be funded through pupil premium, and keeps child data to a minimum under a strict DPA. Built and designed during my time at Teesside University, privacy-first from the first stroke, and simple to cancel at any time. ​ Sometimes a child says more in ten minutes of drawing than in ten weeks of sessions. Scribbletastic gives therapists and support workers a gentle window into that world. With a secure Therapist ID, families link a child artwork straight to your dashboard, requiring no emails, no USB sticks, and no sensitive files floating around. Watch every stroke replay in order, see how a feeling developed session by session, add private therapeutic notes, and send small rewards and encouragement back to the child between appointments.
